In 2006, the Camp Rockmont Alumni Association (CRAA) was created for the purpose of keeping the Rockmont Nation connected and involved and to help generate funds necessary to enable economically disadvantaged boys experience Rockmont. A website was developed to house archival material and to serve as a vehicle for communicating Rockmont news to alumni. In addition, the CRAA partnered with the Camp Diversity Foundation (CDF), a 501©3, to fund “Adventure Week”. With new Rockmont leadership, new energy and resources have been injected into the CRAA mission.

Please join (it’s FREE! To alumni) and celebrate Rockmont’s rich tradition and help shape the future.

Ambassadors

The Rockmont Alumni Ambassador Program brings together a group of approximately 30 former campers and staff who represent multiple generations of the Rockmont experience and communities across the country. These ambassadors serve as familiar, trusted points of connection for alumni seeking to re-engage with camp. In addition to being accessible contacts, they actively extend Rockmont’s reach by connecting with their personal networks of fellow alumni. Through these relationships, ambassadors help share news, events, and opportunities that keep the Rockmont community strong and engaged.

“Thanks again for giving each of us the opportunity to spend a few days remembering the incredible times we had at Camp Rockmont years ago. I know for me, it seemed like only yesterday as I walked around – even though it was 33 years ago. But I truly know they were the best 5 summers of my life!”

“It was fantastic seeing all of the folks who’ve impacted my life in such wonderful ways. Rockmont is not held in high esteem for everyone just for its physical beauty; instead, I believe we alumni think of Rockmont as a group of outstanding folks with great messages to share.”

“My boys and I sure enjoyed the reunion weekend and I thought you guys did a fantastic job putting that together.”

“Congratulations are due to all three of you! The reunion was a tremendous success. Rockmont has changed but only in the best ways.”
