As the Executive Director of Camp Rockmont for Boys from 1987 – 2021, I had many conversations with parents and staff during those early years as to how we can extend the opportunity for a Rockmont experience to boys who, for financial reasons, would be otherwise unable. Out of those conversations, and through the tireless efforts of some dedicated alumni, in 2007, The Camp Diversity Foundation was born. Since that time, over $1,000,000 dollars has been raised and over 1,000 full scholarship campers have attended.
The CDF recently established an endowed fund to help ensure future scholarship availability.
